About: The chapter was chartered in 1958. We have very much changed over the years. We have continued to grow and evolve our chapter. We provide many opportunities for our chapter members to experience.
Chapter highlights for 2025-2026:
— The chapter has two Region 8 officers, Ambra Andrist and Ella Aarsvold.
— We hosted a corn maze free to the community in fall 2025 using our school corn plot. This served
as a chapter fundraiser and a community event.
— In fall 2025, we continued our annual Feed the Farmer event, where we make 250 lunches and
bring them to farmers in the Dodge County area during harvest.
— We hosted a grain drive in fall 2025 where we collected grain from farmers in our area. This is
used as a chapter fundraiser to help support students throughout the school year.
—We currently have state-qualified teams in the following Career Development Events: dairy cattle evaluation and management; livestock evaluation; floriculture; companion animal science; and meats evaluation and technology.
— We had two members compete in the Farm Bureau Discussion Meet. Ambra Andrist placed first
in the state.
— We are currently planning our annual Ag Day dinner, which is scheduled for March 26. The event
features a meal for area agriculture education supporters to show our appreciation to them for the support throughout the years.
— In 2025, a group from our chapter traveled to the National FFA Convention & Expo.
— Six members of our chapter won FFA jackets this year through the Minnesota FFA Blue Jackets
Bright Futures program. The winning students were Nessa Santjer, Ruby Kellogg, Brody Hulst, Karlie Gangl, Maddi Heeren and Cora Holtz.
— Our FFA floriculture team offered a 2025 holiday arrangement for sale to the community as a fundraiser to support their learning. They will continue to design and sell various arrangements throughout the year.
