Rocori FFA Chapter

Tell us about your involvement with FFA. Within FFA, I do many things, from the milk quality team and the ag issues team to the animal science team and more. Outside of contests, I love our annual corn drive, going to all conventions and fall rallies, volunteering and, most of all, hanging out with my team.

What has FFA taught you so far? You’re never alone; you are a part of a whole — a big whole, your chapter, your teams, your friend group. Wherever you are, you will be part of a whole.

How do you intend to stay involved in ag after your FFA career? I will never stop advocating for the dairy industry, and I want to join my college agriculture group to advocate for all agriculture industries.

What are you involved in outside of FFA? Outside of FFA, I play the flute in concert band and bass drum in our drumline. I’m also a manager at our local Caribou Coffee, do student council, and perform in many musicals every year.

What is something people need to know about FFA? Agriculture is not just farmers, ranchers and cowboys; it’s people with a love of agriculture, with a love to make a difference, a love to inform and love to lead. Agriculture affects everyone, so even if it’s just learning a little about agriculture, everyone should know about agriculture.
