Albany FFA Chapter
Tell us about your involvement with FFA. In FFA last year, I was the chapter’s sentinel, and I have been involved for three years. I compete in small animals and milk quality and intend to do a proficiency this year.
What has FFA taught you so far? FFA has taught me many things. One is that it taught me how to be a good leader and role model.
How do you intend to stay involved in ag after your FFA career? I intend to keep my family farm going well after my parents retire from it, and I plan to have my kids do the same thing, as I did in FFA in middle school and high school.
What are you involved in outside of FFA? Outside of FFA, I am on the trap team and work on my family’s dairy farm.
What is something people need to know about FFA? People need to know that agriculture is more than a hobby; it is a way of life, and I want everyone to know just how important agriculture is to the world.
