COWBOY BEANS

1 pound ground beef

1/2 pound bacon, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 28-ounce cans baked beans

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove and set aside. In same skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess grease. Combine baked beans, beef and onion mixture, bacon, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder in a baking dish. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Bake uncovered for 45-60 minutes until hot, bubbly and slightly thickened.
